Msafiri Kondo, famously known as Solo Thang (or “The Travellah”), is a legendary Tanzanian rapper and one of the most respected lyricists in the history of Bongo Hip-hop. He rose to fame in the late 1990s as a member of the group Wateule, alongside fellow heavyweights Jay Moe and Jaffarai, and later established a massive solo career defined by his sharp Swahili wordplay and storytelling.
