Oskido (born Oscar Sibonginkosi Mdlongwa on November 23, 1967) is an iconic South African DJ, producer, and entrepreneur who is widely regarded as the godfather of Kwaito and a primary architect of the South African house music scene. As the co-founder of the legendary Kalawa Jazmee Records, he has mentored many of Africa’s biggest stars, including Black Coffee, DJ Maphorisa, and Mafikizolo.
