Lucas Mkenda, popularly known as Mr. Nice, is a legendary Tanzanian singer and one of the most iconic figures in the history of Bongo Flava. Born in 1978 in Moshi, he became a household name across East Africa in the early 2000s, pioneering the “TAKEU” style a musical blend named after the initials of Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda.
