Mayikusai (also spelled Mayiku Sai or Mayiku Sayi) is a popular Tanzanian traditional music artist who specializes in Nyimbo za Asili (traditional songs), specifically within the Sukuma cultural context. Known as “Raisi Mayiku Sai,” he has built a significant following in the Lake Zone and central regions of Tanzania, particularly in Tabora, Mwanza, and Shinyanga, by documenting social life, wedding celebrations, and community stories through song.

By March 2026, he remains one of the most prolific artists in the “Asili” scene, frequently releasing lengthy, storytelling tracks that often span 10 to 20 minutes, which is a hallmark of the Sukuma traditional music style.
