Many Jay (born John Andumile Mwakalasi on August 8, 1998) is a prolific Tanzanian rapper, singer, and songwriter who has become a prominent voice in the Bongo Flava and Bongo Hip-Hop scenes. Hailing from Mbeya and currently based in Dar es Salaam, he is widely recognized for his lyrical focus on sports, street life, and social commentary.

By March 2026, Many Jay has established himself as the go-to artist for Tanzanian football anthems, particularly for his dedication to the “Watani wa Jadi” (traditional rivals) culture surrounding Simba SC and Yanga SC.
