JIVU (which means “Grey” or “Ash” in Swahili) is a distinctive Afro-fusion singer-songwriter duo based in Nairobi, Kenya. The duo is composed of Johnson Keragori (famously known as KEGIMA) and Chege Anderson. They are celebrated for their “gentlemanly” approach to music, often describing their sound as soulful, chivalrous, and urban African music that honors the worth of women.
