DJ Mushizo is a Tanzanian musical virtuoso, professional DJ, and record producer who has become a central figure in the modern Singeli movement. Born in Shinyanga, he is a self-taught talent who rose to prominence through his ability to blend traditional Singeli a high-speed genre reaching up to 300bpm  with Bongo Flava and Amapiano influences. He is widely recognized for his high-energy “Singerii Beats” and his role as a key contributor to the “Uswazi” (street) music narrative.
