Anastacia Muema is a celebrated Tanzanian-born gospel singer and songwriter who has become a leading figure in the East African Catholic and ecumenical music scenes. Though she is Tanzanian by birth, she is based primarily in Kenya, where she officially launched her digital music career in April 2021. In just a few years, she has risen to significant prominence, particularly among Kenyan and Tanzanian Catholic communities, for her polished “Kwaya Katoliki” (Catholic Choir) style of music.
